shutter speed is how long you long you allow light to come in or simplier words how lond you leave the door open. this was a very dark room with little light. we had a high iso, longer shutter speed. i had to set the camera up to allow more light and movement to get into the photo. it allows you to create cool pictures and also allows more light to get in the photo. my favorite picture was the one with the white and red light because it was really fun to create and I never knew that you could take pictures like that without photo shop
